So whats the deal with Golden Milk? What is it anyway? The main ingredient in Golden Milk is Tumeric which is the secret power behind the drink. Tumeric has been recognized for centuries in India as a healing food. There are actually over 600 potential health benefits of turmeric.

Golden Milk:

Make the Tumeric paste:

¼ cup of turmeric powder

½ teaspoon of ground pepper

½ cup of filtered water

Mix all ingredients in a small sauce pan and mix well. Turn the heat to medium high and stir constantly until the mixture is a thick paste. This does not take long. Let the mixture cool and then keep refrigerated in a small jar.

 

Make Golden Milk:

1 cup of almond, coconut or hemp milk.

1 teaspoon coconut oil

½ teaspoon or more of turmeric paste

½ teaspoon of Cinnamon

honey

Combine everything except the Honey is a sauce pan. Turn the heat to medium and stir constantly. Do not allow it to boil. Add honey to taste.
